CDE Belt Feeders Maximise Efficiency ...

As part of our ongoing commitment to improve plant efficiency, our feed systems have undergone a substantial development program in recent months. Our materials processing systems begin with our range of feed hoppers, incorporating our unique belt feeder mechanism.
“We have a group of designers whose focus is solely on the development and improvement of the transfer points between each piece of equipment in our range” explains design manager, Brian McCullough.
The aim of this focus on transfer point technology is to ensure the transfer of material through our systems is as efficient as possible. The end result of this focus is less spillage, more product on the ground and therefore, more material for you to sell.
The margins are further improved by the fact that there is less time spent on maintenance and housekeeping as the build up of material in and around the various transfer points is minimised.
Our belt feeder comes with a standard 1000mm belt and has been designed to ensure that once material is loaded into our hopper it is transferred quickly and efficiently to the next stage of the feed system, which will either be one of our Conveyors or our AtroFeed system.
 There are several elements of the belt feeder design which dramatically reduce the spillage associated with many of the other belt feeder systems on the market. These include skirting rubbers fitted around the entire base of the hopper and the rubber lined drive drum being fitted with a belt scraper to minimise material build up.
The CDE belt feeder is an integral part of our range of feed hoppers and is proven in numerous applications to be the most efficient belt feeder system available on the market. We can also offer the belt feeder unit as a stand alone system for fitting onto a hopper bin. This unit is provided with drawings detailing the dimensions for the hopper bin and all the required connection points with the belt feeder.
