CDE Asia, in a short while, has successfully captured the Iron ore washing market in India. Washing ensures clean and calibrated feed which improves productivity of kilns and reduces coal consumption. Successful applications have been established for Sponge, Sinter & Mining industries with potential for upgrading Iron content by reducing Silica/Alumina in lumps, fines, blue dust, mining overburdens, slimes etc. Different methods - washing, scrubbing, jigging, cycloning etc. have been adopted in more than 2 dozen plants installed for medium & large steel producers and mine owners, who have benefitted significantly from CDE’s technology with an average Return on Investment (ROI) period of less than one year. In association with Promet Engineers, Australia, the company also offers Consultancy services for setting up Iron ore Concentrators/beneficiation for the Pelletizing plants and has already secured their first project near Raipur.
CDE Asia also pioneered the concept of Sand & Aggregate washing in the Indian market. In a short while, it has already set up numerous sand washing plants in India & its neighbouring countries. CDE’s washing technology helps sand manufacturers & construction companies produce quality in-spec sand from quarry dust and river sand, etc. This quality sand not only gives tangible benefits to mass construction & quality civil works but also reduces cost by consuming less cement. CDE recycling technology helps waste management contractors to produce quality sand and aggregates (of customized sizes) from Construction & Demolition debris. CDE Asia has set up the first Construction & Demolition waste recycling plant in the country last year and many other projects are in advanced stage.
