Per-and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) contamination of soil and water is an important issue of significant concern across Australia and around the world. Swathes of agricultural land have been contaminated by PFAS substances being deposited in local water supplies.
The PFAS Forum set to be held on the 13 November 2020, CDE representatives will be attending alongside Government environmental departments and remediation companies to explore the best route forward to handle PFAS, innovative practices for reducing contamination and routes of collaboration between the sectors.
