About the CDE project with Resolve Aggregates
The plant is installed in Ravenna since 2017 with equipment including the M4500 modular wash plant, the AggMax portable logwasher, the Counter Flow Classification Unit (CFCU), the EvoWash fines recovery unit and the AquaCycle thickener. In April 2017, following 16 months of the equipment being used at Fort Worth, the equipment was relocated to a newly acquired sand deposit in Ravenna, Texas. After being structurally relocated and installed, the modular plant was re-commissioned by CDE the following May.
Operating as Resolve Aggregates, this plant has allowed the company to address key issues they were experiencing with their existing material.
- The need to produce in-spec, finished products in a single pass
- Reduce the environmental impact of their operation by lowering water consumption
- Reduce the footprint of their plant
- Reduce operational costs
The CDE equipment installed at the Resolve Aggregates site in Ravenna currently produces 100k pm of sand & gravel including:
- C33 concrete sand
- #8 pea gravel
- #57 gravel
- C144 masonry sand
- Asphalt sand
Reduction in Water Consumption
As well as improving the material that Resolve Aggregates now produce, the CDE equipment has also enabled the company to significantly lower their water consumption. Their old plant required 6000 GPM, but now the plant is only needing 260gpm to run.
Commenting on the CDE installation, Keith Newell, President of Resolve Aggregates said, “The quality of equipment design and the strength of its manufacturing are truly remarkable, as is the precision with which the plant fits together. Perhaps most important, the AquaCycle thickener greatly diminishes our freshwater requirements."
