Washing rejected material

In a lot of iron ore mines, low grade iron-ore fines of little commercial value has been accumulated over the years. This material is low grade iron-ore with high levels of alumina, silica and other contaminants. CDE has developed washing plants to economically process this low grade material to generate products for which there is a commercial market or which are suitable for use in downstream processes. Our experience in last few years has shown that 60-70% of the material can be recovered as Sinter Feed following the investment in a CDE iron ore washing plant.

This investment succeeds in turning a waste product into a product of commercial value and echoes our approach throughout our mineral processing operations which is to maximize material recovery and minimize waste from your production processes.
