What is Soil Washing?
Soil washing involves the recovery of a range of materials from soils, often extracted from excavation waste sites. This material, traditionally considered waste, contains valuable materials that can be extracted for re-use through wet processing to clean and separate. Depending on your location you may also refer to this material as muck away.
Many excavated soils will contain contaminants of various levels that need to be removed to ensure the end materials are suitable for re-use. Soil washing process
Every soil washing plant from CDE is unique as it is designed according to the specific requirements of the customer, their site, and the material that will be fed into and washed by the system, along with the desired product output from the washing process.
